This distributor is ready to run and comes with cap, rotor, coil, distributor body, gear, shaft, module and is ready to go. 
 
All that's needed is the 12V power source that is a simple plug in from your wire harness or a standard 1/4 in female connector attached to the marked 12V terminal 
 
The HEI distributor shaft is also thicker than some competitors shafts. 
 
HIGH PERFORMANCE COIL: This is a true high performance coil that produces 65,000 volts spark through to 7,500 RPM.
